Density matrix
Density matrix $\rho$ is a way to represent a quantum state using a complex matrix $\mathbb{C}^{n\timex n}$.
If you have a state vector $\langle\psi\rangle$ you can always turn it into a density matrix in the following way. $$\rho = \rangle\psi\lvert\psi\langle$$
