Inspecting generation distinguishes the task supplied to an agent from the code it produces. The driver exposes both:
# Inspect tasks and context without generating or compiling. $ llmc++ -fllm-dump-context main.cpp # Read accepted bodies from the existing cache. $ llmc++ -fllm-offline -fllm-dump-code main.cpp -o main # Write the complete rewritten translation unit for review. $ llmc++ --llm -fllm-offline main.cpp
A context dump helps diagnose available declarations and settings. Body output and rewritten source reveal assumptions in the accepted implementation. Offline mode prevents an inspection build from replacing a missing body through generation.
For the exchange itself, use verbose output or transcripts. Inspection is useful when code compiles but implements the wrong algorithm; compiler acceptance alone cannot resolve that mismatch.
