115200 is the default baud rate for Arduino USB-UART communication.

You specify the baudrate using -b option.

 $ picocom /dev/ttyACM0 -b 115200

To exit picocom, use Ctrl + A, X. This means holding control and pressing 'A' and 'X'. Don't release control while switching from 'A' to 'X'.
